From the Acting Principal
Good afternoon families and community, last week I had a productive time in Longreach collaborating and learning from other Principals in the OAA cluster as we focussed on our Annual Improvement Plans for 2025.
This fortnight we are looking forward to wrapping up our learning for the year and finishing off our transitions for our new grades!

Staff updates
- The teacher vacancy brief is still advertised.
- Mrs Clarke has been loved by all students while being at Birdsville this week and last week. Her last day with us will be on Friday 22nd November.
- I will be away Thursday and Friday.

Awards night and Graduation
Students are counting down the days until awards night on the 5th of December. They are eagerly preparing for their performance piece too!
Schools Food Program
The food program is a big hit, and Lesley has been doing a phenomenal job of baking and making delicious food for the students.
We also provide cereal such as Weet-bix in the mornings for breakfast. Please ensure children are avoiding things like coke and lollies before school.
