Pelican Brief 10th November
From the Principal's Desk

We are very much in the thick of the end of term planning, events and assessments.
Next week our students in Prep-Year Six are off to Bedourie for Splash and Arts Camp with Mrs Birchley and Amber. The school will remain open, however, no students will be in attendance, Venessa will be on site if you have any urgent issues that need attening to.
On Tuesday our P&C hosted their biggest event this year, our Community Melbourne Cup Luncheon. It was a fantastic day and was so lovely to see our community come together to celebrate all things spring racing and watch the 'race that stops the nation' thank you to every one who helped out, from setting up, prepping the delicious food (big shout out to Amber), organising the decorations (Harriet) and setting up our ipad and square so that we could be an eft facility (Sam). Thank you to everyone who participated in Fashions of the Field; you definitely didn't make the judges job easy! (Thank you Sarah for being our Judge); our winners were:
